Flower Pot Card

Well..........here I am again with post #3 today!!  I just made up this card and I really like how it turned out.  I used a bunch of scraps from my scrap pile.  It is a lift from a card that I saw over at sb.com.  I did change it up to make it my own.  I can't remember who to give credit to, but I will try and find out and give her credit in this post later.

Credit for this card goes to Vicky Papaioannou

Relaxing Weekend

I've had a very relaxing weekend. I was able to get a lot of scrapping done yesterday. Today was filled with a little house cleaning, a lot of FaceBook, and a bunch of blog hopping.  I love to see what other scrappers and card makers are up too! I hope you all enjoyed your weekend as much as I have. Now back to FaceBook to check on my farm in FarmVille!!!

I Love My Mommy - Stuck On U Sketches

This layout was done using by above sketch by Aymee Gandy.  Its the second layout that I have made for the Stuck On U Sketches challenge.  Every Friday they post a new sketch challenge over on their blog.  I found this blog totally by accident and I'm glad I stumbled across it.  I had been in a scrapping rut and I started playing along with a few sketch challenge blogs and I have my scrap MOJO back.  Its been fun!!

This is my daughter Lisa and our little Dominick once again.  I do have other grandchildren that I need to scrap.  But......Lisa is really good about making sure I have all the current photo's of little Tommy......aka: Dominick.  This was taken on our trip to see cousins Russ & Betty.

Special Boy - Sketchy Thursdays 2.25

I just finished up this layout for this weeks sketch over at Sketchy Thursdays.  I pretty much stuck with the sketch this week.  I paper pieced the little owl.  I found the pattern in Scrapbooks etc the February 2010 issue.  I just love this photo of Dominick.  It was taken a couple of weeks ago when we went to visit our cousins Russ & Betty.  He was actually playing hide-n-seek with his little cousin Davey.  Dominick doesn't hide very well.....LOL!!!  But at 17 months I think he does a pretty good job of playing the game.

That's How I Roll

This sketch was provided by Stuck On U Sketches. They post a new challenge sketch once a week.  I really had fun with it.  Of course this is little Dominick once again.  We were checking out of our hotel and had the luggage cart fully loaded.  He saw daddy pulling the cart and just had to help out!!

Day 357 at 365 Cards

I haven't been making cards lately and I needed a birthday card for my son-in-law Steve.  I made a visit to 365 Cards to see what they were up to today and found today was the last day of sketch week.  So I used the following sketch to help me make the card.  I don't like making "guy" cards......no lace, no ribbon, no fu-fu!!!  So this isn't my favorite card ever, but it will do!!  Guys never really look at the cards they receive anyway.......right!!!!

THE BEST PLACE TO BUY A GIFT!

..........................and that would have to be HOME GOODS!!  When I need a cute little something, I can always find it there.  I wanted to take a belated birthday gift to my cousin Rhonda this past weekend and of course I dropped by HOME GOODS and found these cute little Easter bowls.  They would be great for nuts, candies, dip, etc.  She loves pink, so these were just perfect.  And......yes she liked 'em!!  I also found the gift box that I used there too.  I love wrapping my gifts in these pretty boxes.  They are so fun to give.  A smile goes on my face after I tie on the bow.  It doesn't take much to make me happy!!

Cousins - Creative Scrappers Sketch #91

This layout was made using Creative Scrappers sketch #91.  I really stuck to the sketch this time.  I just love this paper by Webster's Pages.  I used scraps to frame the photo of  my cousin Rhonda and myself.  I dug in my bling storage box and found the strips of  bling.  I added bling and glitter to the flowers.  I also found the pearled lace in my ribbon scrap bag.  So another layout made from scraps.  Whoo-hoo......I'm stayin' out of the scrapbook stores!!!

Bubble Boy - Sketchy Thursdays 2.11

This layout of Dominick was made using Sketchy Thursdays 2.11 sketch.  I flipped the sketch again this week.  I used all scraps on this one.  I am very proud of myself!!  We took these photos this past weekend while visiting with family in Southern California.  The bubble machine kept him busy for a long, long time!!  I think this gramma will be putting one in his Easter basket this year.

Super Cute - Creative Scrappers Sketch #90

This layout was made using todays sketch from Creative Scrappers.  This is my grandson Dominick last May, he was 8 months old.  I had fun working with all these papers.  I'm really bad at keeping track of the products that I have used.  I just don't take the time.  My daughter Lisa bought the same papers and I can't wait to see what she comes up with.  So the challenge is on......Lisa show me what ya got!!!!
