Day 61 at 365 Cardswas to make a card using leaves! I finished up jury duty early today and stopped by an LSS on my way home and found this fabulous leaf paper by American Crafts. I also picked up these Prima flowers, plus some others!!! I also used my Marvy Uchida scallop punches an EK corner punch and a Fiskars border punch. I was punch happy today!!! Most of my button collection is from my cousin Rhonda. The brads were a gift from sb.com.
I spent all day yesterday at the courthouse and 1/2 of today. I was so glad I wasn't picked as a juror. It got down to about 5 of us left. Thank goodness they finally picked the jury before I was called to the box. The trial was going to last at least 2 weeks. How could I keep up on my cards if I was on jury duty.....LOL!!!!

Day 57 at365 Cards was to use this sketch. I got up at 5am today, so I made two cards before daylight!! I actually had to stop myself today, this sketch was very inspiring. I must do housework! Boo-hoo!! But if I get it all done, who knows, I might make a few more cards using this sketch!! Happy Sunday to you all!!
The sunflower card was made using Bo Bunny papers that I have had for some time. An LSS was closing and I bought a ton of paper from them. It will probably take me 20 years to use it all!! The brads I received from sb.com as a gift for an order I placed with them. They are sugar coated. Really pretty! I was in a sewing mood today, I love sewing on cards but never remember to do it. I organized my scraproom yesterday and my machine is very easy to get to now. My "hi" card was made using paper from Chatter Box. This was also purchased from the LSS that was closing. The inside of the card does match the outside. The outside pic was taken in direct sun and it changed colors on me. This card looks like the top photo, really rich brown. I also used Prima flowers, brad and bling from my stash. The corners on the inside were done with a Marvy corner punch. I also did a little sewing on this one too!
Day 55 at 365 Cards was to use a recipe provided to us by Pam. Here's the recipe we had to follow:
5x5 card (solid colored card stock - may be smooth or textured) 4x4 patterned paper (you may alter the edges if you'd like) 1 shape (circle, square, star, heart, etc.) - must be solid color 3 jewels alpha stickers
No other items could be used!! Well........I made a little mistake! I used 3 star brads instead of jewels. I didn't realize we needed to use jewels until I was writing up this post....sorry!!! When I read the recipe, my brain saw the word brads.....LOL!!! I'm not going to change it now!! supplies: American cardstock Scenic Route print paper alphas from JoAnn brads and chipboard star from my stash green paint EK border punch (I treated myself to a bunch of new punches this week!)
Day 54 at365 Cardswas to use at least one recycled element on our card. I hand cut the flower from the lid of a Staples copy paper box. That box had been out in my garage forever. I also just found a card challenge over at Paper Bloomsthat this card fit into today. I might just have to start checking out their challenges too!! I found a link to their site over on Rose's blog.
supplies: American cardstock EK edge punch (just bought this one!) button from my cousin Rhonda (she just sent me a box full of them yesterday) thanks sweetie! cardboard yellow paint embroidery thread
Day 53 at 365 Cards was to use fruit!! I had nothing with fruit on it. I found this image on my Microsoft Picture It program. I am not thrilled with this card at all. It actually looks better in real life. I sprayed it with Glimmer Mist. I did some inking. I really don't like it!!!!! I don't think I was in the mood to make a card after work today. Hopefully tomorrow will be a better creative day for me.
Day 52 at 365 Cards was to use a circle, a blossom & a brad. I thought about this one all day at work today and even when I walked in the door from work had no idea what I was going to do. I started looking through my stash and this is what I came up with. I have been trying to fancy up the inside of my cards lately too. I always have scraps left from the front, so I have started using them. I kind of like the look of this one!! And once again I am not using a sentiment, as I like to be able to use my cards for all occasions. I can always add one later. supplies: Que Sera Sera paper line and brads by K&Company Prima flower American cardstock
