Easter table centerpiece & new pic's of the grandkidlets!!!

I had the day off work today and spent it with my daughter Lisa and my grandson Dominick.  We took a trip over to JoAnn's craft store and bought some stuff to put together a centerpiece for our Easter table.  I think it turned out really cute.  I had a ball with my grandson.  He calls me maawww!!  Lisa also gave me the new photo's she had taken of Dominick and my granddaughter Mia.

A Few More Cards to Share

I got a few more Easter cards made this afternoon.  I'm done for today.  I guess its time to wind down from my weekend.  There is work tomorrow......boo-hoo!!!

A Card Makin' Kind of Day

  

Good morning!!  I got up this morning and figured I better get a few Easter cards made so that I could get them in the mail tomorrow.  I had planned on using some Easter images that I had found, but when I went to print them, they just weren't right.  So I thought, great, what am I going to do now.  I had made this same card a month or so ago and I really had fun making it, so I made a couple of changes to the original design and this is what I came up with.  I know this isn't your typical Easter card, but I'm not always your typical little card maker.....LOL!!!  I love this paper.....its called "paper bag".  The cord I used to tie onto the flower is a hemp glitter cord used in jewelery making.  I bought a bunch of different colors of it the other day.  I like it!!  Now I better get back to making more cards.  Enjoy your Sunday!!

sunshine - Creative Scrappers #96

I just finished my layout using the above sketch from Creative Scrappers.  I've been working on this one for a couple of nights.  I'm really happy with the way it turned out.  But how could I go wrong using another photo of my granddaughter Mia!!

#1 Cool dude - Sketchy Thursdays 3.18

I had fun with this one!  I used burlap and I cut up a cardboard box, I also did a little stamping and used a rub-on!!  I've had these little animals for some time and I think they found a home on this layout!!  I used the above sketch from Sketchy Thursdays as my inspiration.

Gazillion Bubbles

Take a look at this awesome bubble machine that I found at Costco!!  It was just under $20.00.  I actually bought two of them, one for Dominick and one for Mia.   You know how little ones love to play with bubbles.  Well........this little guy puts out 5000 bubbles a minute!!  Have you ever seen such a big bottle of bubble solution?  Not me!!!  I thought this would make a great Easter gift.  I'm so excited I can't wait to play with this myself......LOL!!!!  And promise me that you won't look at my messy scrap table.  I was in the middle of a layout and pushed it to the side to take this photo!!!

1st Day - Creative Scrappers #95

I've been working with this sketch for the past couple of nights and finally finished it!  I stamped  and embossed the green, orange and yellow cardstock.  I always forget that I have my little purse embossing machine. All the flowers are Prima's.  I just love these with the crystal like sprinkles!!  This is my granddaughter Tallie on her 1st day of kindergarten last July.

Swinging with daddy - Stuck On U Sketches

I just spent a couple of hours using the above sketch from Stuck On U Sketches.  This week we were to use a couple different patterned papers.  I love mixing patterned papers, so this was right up my alley.  This time my darling little subject was Dominick and his daddy Steve.  These photo's were taken last Sunday when we walked to the park.  Yep.......I walked to the park!!!

Silly girl - Sketchy Thursdays 3.11 Sketch Challenge

I finally got some scrappin' time in this morning!!  I wasn't able to get to any of my weekly sketch challenges last week and I'm so happy that I made it into my scrap room and got to play today!!  This was made using Sketchy Thursdays challenge sketch 3.11.  This once again is my granddaughter Mia.  She had just gotten up and was ready to eat her breakfast....... when I pulled out my camera......she went to town posing!!!  She is so darned adorable!!
