My Mother's Day

I spent Mother's Day with my family at Steve and Lisa's. I started getting sick on Saturday and figured I would have to pass up Mother's Day. I got up on Sunday and felt pretty good, so I got ready, went to the store and then picked up my mother-in-law. Lisa and Steve's backyard is just so peaceful and gorgeous I want to share these photo's that I took yesterday. As you can see I didn't get many pic's of the family or of myself with my family. Thats because I got sicker and sicker as the day went on. For the most part, I just sat in the backyard and stared. I didn't want to pass my germs on to anyone, so I figured staying outside would be the best thing for me to do. When everyone got ready to leave, Lisa said, "Mom are you okay"? I said nope, I need to rest for a bit before I drive home. She took my temp and it was over 103 degrees. No wonder I felt like the pitts. So I slept for awhile and decided I better drive home. My temp had lowered to a little over 101 degrees at that point. So I'm home from work today. I felt really bad calling in today as I have been on vacation for a week. That really looks good!! I've got to go to work tomorrow, so hopefully I start feeling better.

Wow, what a temperature. Hope that you feel better soon. WIth the swine flu scare, my work has signs up on all of the bathroom walls that if you're sick, not to come in - regardless of what it is. Hopefully you won't have to go to work ill. Feel better and thank you for becoming a follower of my blog!

be sure to get checked out by a doctor - you want to take the necessary precautions to protect yourself & your family if it's swine flu.
